Recording audio
The Macromedia Breeze Plug-In helps add
narration to presentation slides. During the
recording
process you can also record
synchronized mouse-click animations. Once y
start using the Macromedia Breeze Plug-In, the
program will create an external file to store your
recorded audio information. This external audio file will have the same name as the PowerPoint file, b
will use the .ppc file extension. If you move/copy the PowerPoint presentation, you will have to move
/copy the corresponding .ppc file, or you will not have audio information.

To record audio:
• Open the appropriate PowerPoint presentation.
• From the Breeze menu select Record. The Record Narration window will open.
• Click the Record button and begin speaking into the microphone.
• To pause recording, click the Pause button. You can then continue recording by clicking the
Record button.
• After recording any slide, you can click the Play button to playback the recorded slide.
Warning:
If you use the Stop button to stop recording, you will be returned to the beginning of the slide. If you continue
recording, you will erase any previously recorded audio and animations for that slide. If you want to record from where you
left off, use the PAUSE button.
Recording Controls
The Macromedia Breeze Plug-In includes a simple set of buttons for controlling the recording of
audio and animations.
To begin playback:
• Move to the slide you want to begin playback using the Next or Previous buttons.
• Press the Play button. Playback, including audio and animations, of the current slide will begin.
Playback will continue until stopped.
• To only playback the current slide check the Record/Play this slide only checkbox. You can also
use the View Show menu item to playback the entire presentation.
To record audio and/or animations for a specific set of slides:
• Move to the first slide you want to record using the Next or Previous buttons.
• Click the Record button and begin speaking into the microphone.
• To pause recording, click the Pause button. You can then continue recording by clicking the
Record button.
• Continue this process until you have finished recording all slides.
• After recording any slide, you can click the Play button to playback the recorded slide.
